Scott Barney

Scott R. Barney, Esq. is a third-generation Virginia attorney, born and raised in Virginia, and has been practicing law in the Virginia Beach area for over a decade.

He is a sole practitioner, offering personalized legal services with a focus on personal injury, DUI defense, auto accidents, and traffic matters.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, in 2005.

He has extensive experience working with law firms throughout the Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach areas, with a deep understanding of Virginia state laws across various practice areas.

Scott is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, showcasing his credentials and experience.

Outside of his legal practice, Scott enjoys playing golf, hunting, fly fishing, and supporting the Washington Football Team.
